GOVERNMENT HOUSE,

HONGKONG. 30th. Scptember, 1915.

I have the honour to report that the Supervisor of the London Branch of the Disconto Gesellschaft has been sending to the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, presumably in their capacity of Liquidators of the local branch of the Deutsch

Asiatische Bank, statements of account between the Disconto

Gesellschaft and the Deutsch Asiatische Bank, for transmission to

the Shanghai Office of the latter Bank.

2.

I shall be glad to learn whether these accounts, which are for the present being retained in Hongkong, should be forwarded to the Deutsch Asiatische Bank in Shanghai. If there is

no objection to their transmission there would seem to be no good

reason why these accounts should not be sent direct to Shanghai.

I have the honour to be,

Sir,

Your most obedient,

humble servant,

Amag

Governar, &c..
